I am an artist who lives and works in a little village just outside of Norwich, Norfolk, England. I'm mum to four children, two dogs and a cat and I have a husband too
I love doing family things, making art, cooking, baking, walking, reading, drawing, painting and lots of other things.
Up until very recently I lived in Wiltshire where I, along with Juliet Abbott-my dear friend and talented Artist/Print-maker/Textile Designer, set Up Red Flag Studio-www.redflagstudio.co.uk. where we produced works of art, displayed them in our gallery and taught children and adults drawing, painting and print-making skills. I really loved it, but we had to move away for work (my husband's) and family reasons and we now find ourselves back where we started in Norfolk. Juliet still runs Red Flag Studio-you can visit her on the website-address as above or on Facebook. Some of my work is available from the studio.
The next few months have been, and will continue to be about us re-setting and finding ourselves in this new setting. For me, they will be about discovering new ways to make art with fresh subject matter-a new and exciting adventure begins...
I will be opening my Etsy shop very soon. It is also be called Walking with Betty and will stock some of my paintings, drawings and prints.
One thing is for sure, I'll be walking Betty, (and Flossie too) and taking all the inspiration I need from what's around me......
