Hi there!
Hope you're all well. Its been quite a while since I've written anything on here. I'm feeling a bit unfocussed lately in terms of work but I made the most of a walk in the rain with the dogs yesterday. Sheltering under the trees, I was able to capture the raindrops that looked like jewels on the foliage. The nettles seemed to have grown more dense over night and were drooping over the paths making them hard to pass. The trees were also bent over with the weight of the rain on their leaves so a lot of ducking and squeezing was required.
My time has been taken up by my children lately. My eldest is taking her GCSE's. Her last one, Physics, is tomorrow. I haven't made any new work in such a long time and it does feel a bit strange. This time last year I was painting loads. Lack of space here makes that tricky. I long to have a dedicated space once more and would love to recover my desk and plan chest and other belongings from my old studio in Wiltshire. I somehow feel that I will be able to connect with my practice when that happens. In the meantime I am enjoying being mum to my four and also helping out in a local high school. I'm hoping to train to be a teacher in a couple of years so I'm trying to gain some experience in schools.
I want to get a Pin It button attached to my blog soon, so if you feel like sharing any of my pictures you can, please credit me though!
I can also be followed on Instagram-I love it!
Here are some of the photos I took yesterday. The last one is my favourite.
